I came to Dr. Kennedy after a Google search that led me to his office. I was greeted with a prompt, "yes we can get you in, would you like to come in today?" I was surprised by the quicker than usual appointment time, and after working four 12's in a row in the ER I was ready to relax and catch up on some ZZZ...but after changes in providers due to insurance issues and needing an RX refill I did not argue. I did let the woman know that today was my day off, and I had both my children with me. She assured me that would not be a problem. As I arrived I was greeted by the woman at the counter who was cheerful and nice. I proceeded to wait in the waiting room for about an hour, which I was thinking to myself.... why did you say you could get me in early? This is not at all what made my experience bad, however. Being an Emergency Room RS, BSN, I do understand and expect emergencies/delays/ect. This is all but normal in a medical setting. My vitals were taken, and I was put in an exam room where I proceeded to wait for some time. My daughter was quietly playing on her tablet and my son was eating a bottle when the doctor entered the exam room. He immediately started scowling and without greeting me, snarled, "you expect to have an appointment with me and you've brought your whole family along?!" I was in disbelief, I actually thought the man was kidding at first. I said, "Sir, if you are serious I did mention the fact that I had my children with me due to this being my day off.." He snarled, "Well no one asked me, did they?" He sat down, opened his laptop, (still huffing and puffing) then said, "I just cant do it, i'm not going to do it. Come back when you don't have 'them' with you.", as he pointed to my children. Dr. Kennedy walked away as I struggled with the door and getting the stroller out of the exam room. I Have been working as a medical professional for 5 years and never have experienced a physician with such terrible bedside manner (to put it in a very nice way). Needless to say, I will NOT be going back and I will relay my experience to anyone who wants an honest account of this physician.... I don't know what your personal experience with this man was, but I am here to tell you from an HONEST standpoint go somewhere else. Very appalling and disappointing.

They answered most of my questions but I could have used more information. Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there. I felt like my needs were mostly met, but they didn't make any extra effort. It was pretty hard to find the building, but I eventually found it. I would never visit them again. I was very disappointed.

The staff would not return my phone calls when I attempted to find out the results of my lab work. When I did manage to speak to a live person, they acted like they were doing me a favor by talking to me. I think health care providers forget we are paying them to provide a service and we do have choices. My choice will be to go elsewhere in the future.
