When I first began coming to the location here in Woodland Park, the staff was much better and more attentive. Even the dental assistants were more communicative.

Nowadays, with the staff changes becoming more constant, this location lost its luster and becoming less to want to come here.

For example, my last visit, on Dec. 5, 2019, during a routine cleaning, the dental assistant conducting my cleaning, discovered that I have an abscess in my upper gum area. She then, proceeded to squeeze down on my gym area to get some of that abscess out - but she did not even warned me or give me a heads up that she was about to squeeze down. That squeeze, sent a pain, from my nostrils area, to the left side of my head. My left eye was throbbing. The staff looked at me, after I was waiting for a follow up appointment, like I was faking the pain. All they could prescribe me was Amoxicillin for the abscess and 600mg of Motrin for the pain. The pain was stronger that the prescribed pain medicine the office gave me.

Today, 12/12/19 was my follow up. I had to wait in an examination chair over close to 45 minutes. No one gave a reason why. An X-ray was taken, and that was it. I was about to leave when the dentist came in. All she said was that the abscess was oozing out and that I did not need any more medication. And she said that I needed a root canal. No telling when or how long that would take to get. The staff before, used to care more. The current staff at this New Jersey Dental Center office does not show or display that same want anymore. So sad.

To anyone, looking for a dentist, I would say to not call or come to this location. I know that people will disregard what I am writing here; especially if you need a dentist right away. That’s ok, go there if you need it. I am just writing this to everyone that is taking the time and searching for a dentist. Please save your time and patience and do not come here.
