Everyone has been kind and helpful and genuine and dedicated to taking wonderful care of my daughter. The whole staff has been accommodating to me as well. I would love to name each individual person who has made an impression on me but I would have to name the entire staff! I could tell when we arrived here that we were in the right place because Amy went from being very anxious and scared to very calm and stoic. Every single day I have had with Amy has been a gift and thanks to the Kindred staff I now get (hopefully) many, many more!

My 91 year old mother was admitted to Kindred for wound care and therapy. She had spent a significant amount of time in bed and was very weak. We were afraid she may never walk on her own again. As soon as we got to Kindred, they evaluated her and came up with a therapy plan that took into account her physical health but also acknowledged her “drive” and “motivation” to get better. Shannon with PT was absolutely instrumental in getting mom up and moving. Every day she would motivate mom to take 1 or 2 more steps than she had the day before. She wasn’t pushy or aggressive, just positive and encouraging. Over time we started to see amazing progress! We love Shannon so much we had her face put on a cake!
The wound care team treated mom for a large and very painful wound. When we first got here mom could hardly sit for more than a few moments without serious pain. Fast forward to today and she is now able to sit for long periods of time, comfortably in her chair! Additionally the wound is almost completely healed.
The staff here at Kindred is nothing short of exceptional! All of the nurses, aids, doctors, and clinicians have gone above and beyond to provide my mom with the very best care. A few we want to give special recognition to ; Jennifer, Charge RN. Jesseka, Case Managment. Dr. Guidry, Wound Care. Dottie, Wound Care. Borbie, CNA. Brenda, RN. Cathy, CNA. Renee, CNA. Diane, Kitchen Staff.
As a retired RN, I can honestly say that I have never experienced a staff quite like Kindred’s. Every single member of this staff has been kind, courteous, gentle, and professional. It is abundantly clear that everyone who works here loves what they do and comes to work with the right attitude. It is obvious not only in the way they care for their patients, but also in the way they interact with one another. There is a lot of laughter and joy in the halls here and it comes from the hearts of the people who work here! ❤️
Thank you from the bottom of my heart, my moms heart, my dads heart, my sisters heart. Our whole family extends its most sincere thanks for everything!

I was admitted to the hospital in December and diagnosed with meningitis. I went into respiratory failure and had to be put on a ventilator. I transferred to Kindred Clear Lake in January. Thanks to all of the hard work by the Physical therapy, Occupational therapy, Speech therapy and Respiratory therapy staff I was able to wean off of the vent, work on my strength building and start eating regular food! All of the nurses have been so nice! The food was delicious and made me feel like I was at home. I love Kindred!

I wanted to express my gratitude for you all! Thank you for your hard work. I am shocked at how quickly I’ve gotten to this point in my recovery! Thank you for your kindness. It’s so much easier to handle such an unexpected situation when there are cheerful, accepting faces surrounding you! Thank you for passing along your knowledge. I have felt such confidence in y’all it has eased my fears. I hope you have such goodness returned to all of you over and over again!

I cannot give enough praise for my stay at Kindred Clear Lake! No one loves having to be in the hospital but my stay was wonderful! Everybody was so kind and so wonderful! From housekeeping to kitchen staff to nursing and all of the doctors everyone was friendly and always there to help take care of my needs or even just chat with me. Since coming home I have been doing wonderfully and I feel great!

You have a wonderful staff here!
Couldn’t ask for a better group of folks.
The nursing staff has been attentive and responsive and has been accommodating in allowing me to participate in my own care. I am very very independent and having a hospital be willing to work with me and allow me to retain some of my dignity has been great. I’m was very resistant to having to call for help walking to and from the bathroom when I first got here even though the staff explained it was for safety. Gradually they began to see how important it was for me to do that on my own and they helped me by standing back and letting me be me...(safely)
Even the kitchen staff and housekeeping staff have been extremely nice. Always happy to stop and chat with me.
I’m very happy to have been able to come to kindred and would highly recommended y’all to my family and friends.

I was referred to the outpatient wound care clinic at Kindred Hospital Clear Lake. My podiatrist, Dr. Sandeep Patel suggested I see them for follow up care after being discharged from the hospital. I was seen at the clinic by Dr. Maria Guidry. The staff and doctor are all the best! I enjoyed the time I spent there and I would use them again if needed.

My stay at Kindred Clear Lake was WONDERFUL! The staff and the food were both great! The staff were all so caring and on my side with encouragement to push myself to get better even when I just didn’t feel like it. The staff at the other hospital I went to were sweet and caring but not as caring and as encouraging as the staff at Kindred. My wife (who is a retired nurse) agrees with me that everyone at kindred was exemplary and wonderful! We were both apprehensive about going to Kindred but our expectations were FAR exceeded! Thank you so much for everything!

I have (unfortunately) been in and out of the hospital a lot in the past year and I have never had more efficient and organized nurses aid as Kayla. She plan ahead and has everything ready for me before I even have to ask. She is friendly and professional and goes out of her way to make sure I am comfortable. I just love her and wish I could bring her home with me! Truthfully everyone on the staff at Kindred has been wonderful and kind but Kayla is definitely the best of the best!
