What I liked the best about Kindred Havertown was the service and so many people who take care of you. Drs. Hollis and Cantor are to be saluted! They put my body back together! Dr. Hollis made sure I was cleaned up and provided me with pain meds. I owe my life to Jordon from Wound Care. Nurses Sue, Rita, and Paula were great. Pieter the Supervisor was awesome! He was able to get my vein on the first try and he came to my rescue a second time when I needed him. Darrell the CNA was wonderful---not only did he take care of cleaning me up from head to toe but he gave me a massage! Because of the Rehab program, I am able to go to an acute rehab from here. Gerri PT is gifted in her work. Patient relations is awesome! She visits everyday and stands up for me. The nurses were on the ball with their end of shift reporting. Bedside reporting is a very good practice! At that time they tell you what they did for you during that day!

At Kindred Havertown I feel safe and I feel cared for. I am getting a "ridiculous amount" of attention. Everyone has a positive attitude--you're going to get better! I was amazed at the communication among teams. There was a lot to coordinate and Kindred did it well. All the nurses have been great. Respiratory therapy has been great---I have learned a lot from them. Rehab inspired me to do the best I could do.because they were working so hard, I had to work hard too. Environmental services were nice, friendly, and thoughtful. Seems like everyone at Kindred Havertown likes each other!

Kindred Havertown treated me like I was their beloved grandmother. The Physical Therapy dept. helped me get going and got me walking again. Wound care team were fantastic and they never once hurt me. Eric CNA went above and beyond for me and did things for me that no other healthcare provider would have done. All the nurses and aides were unbelievably kind.

It was very good rehab and staff was very kind to her every need. Therapy was consistent and always prompt. The type of therapy helped to exceed her overall well being and got her very far such as standing up and dressing herself. Overall the experience was even better a second time around. Only concern was that some of nursing were kind "know it alls" but we're understanding after speaking with them and overall very kind nurses as well as doctors.

Kindred Havertown has a homey atmosphere. I don't feel like I'm in a hospital. I feel like I am at someone's home. Kindred Havertown even allows pets. The nurses and doctors are not real strict. They don't wear the starched white uniforms like they do in other hospitals. Everyone gets to know you and you feel like your part of the family. I really had fun at rehab. Thanks to Lauren who was kind and patient and Susan was great as well. Dr. Sherman was at the top of the list. Rachel from Case management is on top of everything and provided for all I need to go home!

The staff is super friendly and I would highly recommend this facility to anybody who needs any kind of medical attention. The staff was very friendly and caring, I cannot say one bad thing. I highly recommend Kindred.

Employees are real good at Kindred Havertown. The wound care team was excellent. Several employees such as John R N, Lindsey RN, Eric CNA, Rocky CNA, Darrell CNA went beyond for me and put a little extra into all they did. One of them even sang to me. Phelbotomists were great! Deb in respiratory was very good and everyone is passing to say solong and wish me well. Environmental services were excellent--they were always doing anything I needed!

My Kindred experience has been awesome! I was overwhelmed by the welcoming committee so much so that I was speechless. Everyone at Kindred has been more than gracious. I feel a spiritual love here. The nurses, aides, respiratory, rehab, cleaning staff were great! It is a wonderful place for healing---there's a lot of hope and joy here. I am grateful to Dr. Meyer for bringing me to Kindred. Without him and God, I wouldn't be healed.
Rehab allowed me to work out as long as I needed and I was able to accomplish many,many things. Without their help I would not be where I am.
I would not be where I am without the care I received at Kindred Havertown! Maria B.
