Dr. Brown seemed nice enough at first. However, I realized throughout the course of the appointment that she was not listening to me. She would interrupt and talk over me. It was clear she was not choosing to take in the information I was telling her. What really upset me is that because she had poor listening skills, I confirmed with her several times that I needed a refill on my Tramadol medication, which I take because of pelvic-floor related pain. It is a very mild pain reliever and is a very common treatment for this type of pain. This was my first time seeing her. I've never had an issue with a doctor giving this a second thought before- it's a no-brainer. So I confirmed several times that I needed a refill on this, and she specifically told me she had faxed it in already. She looked me in the eye and said that. So I was counting on that because I had left my old gyno to see her. Then when I went to get it, she had not called it in, she only called my birth control in. I was sure there was some confusion, so I called them and her nurse called it right in, no problem. Then the nurse called me back and said Dr. Brown did want me to have this medication and I needed to see a urologist for that because she was not "familiar" with it. So she called the pharmacy she had already called in to and cancelled it. I'm sorry, you're not familiar with one of the most common medications available? Obviously she wasn't that unfamiliar or her nurse would not have called it right in. I truly have no idea why she was not ok with that, but I would have respected her a lot more if she had told me that at the appointment rather than waiting and just trying to hide and avoid it. I would have appreciated an alternative or some help if she knew for whatever reason that would not work. i appreciate communication and to be trusted as knowing what works for my body. The experience was disappointing and confusing. So I won't be back. I guess I see now why I was able to get in to see her so fast- her reviews are not good and my experience was bad.

Doctor was nice enough, nothing special. but nurses and staff were very unpleasant and completely ruined my experience. I read bad reviews about this office but they were from women receiving pregnancy care so I figured I'd try them out since all I needed was a prescription for birth control and this was the only female doctor who accepted my insurance close by. I will be making an appt and switching to one of the male obgyns in my area. Even though I feel very uncomfortable seeing a male doctor, I'm sure it will be better than my experience at Dr. Brown's office. Think twice about making an appointment here. I wish I did.

I've visited Dr. Brown's office three times for annual exams. She gave a through exam, welcomed my questions and asked many questions so I felt my concerns were met. I felt very comfortable in this pleasant and professional office. I found welcome conveniences I feel empower patients, such as a small closet to conceal my clothes when I disrobed and clear instructions in the restroom explaining how to collect a urine specimen. Her staff was welcoming and very competent, explaining what was happening at each step of my visit.

Their staff is a very friendly, welcoming staff. They are warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. They made the extra effort to make sure every question and concern I had was addressed. They have a staff that's knowledgeable and qualified. I got an appointment quickly. I've never had to wait too long.
