After two visits and still no pelvic due to his own decision which seemed influenced by his appearance of being quite rushed, I decided to find a new OB. Further influencing this decision was the fact that I am 33 and genetic testing was never mentioned. I had to call and request the nuchal translucency test myself after reading about it online. No sonogram pictures ever. Not one. Every time his machine was "broken" and could not print. Took a photo of the screen on the sono and later noticed someone else's name was on it- another patient! Serious breach of privacy, not to mention a major mistake! Receptionists very quick to offer medical advice without getting a nurse or suggesting one get in touch with me. To add insult to all this injury, when I picked up my records after they were faxed to my new doctor, Dr Tate had documented that I was a smoker who smoked a pack Oma day, AND had recently quit using smokeless tobacco!!! WOW!! Not a nicotine user so no clue where that came from ! Run - run fast- from this doctor!!! Oh did I mention his partner pushes Juice Plus on her patients? A network marketing business?? And they have invested advertising for the weight loss drug Phentermine, which is proudly displayed on large cards by their check out desk to take home. Sorry but I didn't realize this was a weight loss clinic.

Dr. Tate is the best. I've referred dozens of patients to him and they have always thanked me because of his excellently care. If you want to find out how good he is call him or schedule an appointment. I read a negative review and I felt compelled to set the record straight. Im always amazed at how considerate and concerned he is. His advice is always wonderful and completely unbiased. Not only was he able to provide everything he promised me, he went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. He went to great lengths to make sure I was completely relaxed and comfortable the entire time. Everyone makes sure you are comfortable and at ease. Dr.Tate thanks for all that you do!!!

I was put off when the DR. walked into the room and did not introduce himself or acknowledge my husband. He is unapologetic about not returning emergency pages. I was not impressed and will be looking elsewhere.
