Dr. Bob and I had a long-term friendship. He was a source of encouragement and helped me through a challenging time in my life. His life was a reflection of compassion and dedication to assisting others genuinely. He called me many times on Sundays and asked, "Do you want some coffee?" I knew what that meant. He had a group of teens assembled at a local shop, ready to discuss spiritual matters. Those times were enriching and were reflections of his genuine love for others. I will never forget the awesome trip to the holy lands. The way it happened was typical Dr. Bob! He called and asked, "Do you want to go to the Holy Lands?" I answered with a yes and a when! He said, "3 hours...and it's first class all the way." We spent most of our time discussing the Bible as we visited various sites in Israel. I miss you, Bob.
