Jim Nuegass has been a wonderful asset to our company. Besides his private practice, he also will go out on site to perform corporate massages. He comes to our company once a month and the employees love it. He does 15 minute and 30 minute massages which range from light pressure like a Swedish massage to deep tissue massages. Since he has a nursing and yoga background, he can pinpoint the problem areas which makes the massage better overall. We have had several employees rave about how the stiffness or pain in their necks from staring at the computer all day have really improved and even gone away! I would recommend him because he is really passionate about what he does as well as being good at it. We look forward to another year with Jim doing our corporate massages.

Jim became the "massage guy" for our company wellness program sometime in 2009. Initially I signed up for the 15-minute mid-day stress reliever once a month for the convenience and price, but as time went on I realized that anything less than 30-60 minutes with Jim is just a teaser warm-up.

Jim is very professional and well rounded with a variety of techniques. The most important aspect of therapy with Jim Neugass is the communication during the sessions. He listens, asks questions, and discusses the intensity, depth, frequency and pain levels associated to the various techniques that are offered to ensure effectiveness and satisfaction.

It is also nice that Jim provides education (exercises, stretches, environment, etc.) throughout his sessions to limit or prevent ongoing issues with certain areas and the need for ongoing/regular visits. It shows that Jim is truly interested in the well-being of his clients and not just getting repeat business.

As a manager of the inbound Call Center, I've also booked sessions with Jim for my floor supervisors and quality assurance auditors to show my appreciation for their hard work. They usually come out of their session with Jim feeling the same way I do and say something like "Wow, that was amazing! - I feel like a new man/woman."

I have always treated myself to massages whenever I felt I deserved one. Then I went to Jim. Now I realize that a massage isn't just a treat for me, it is a therapy session! I met Jim when I started a gentle yoga class at the Y. He was the instructor. I had only been to a yoga class once before, and was totally lost. It was different in Jims class. He explained things in a way that I understood. Jim carries this through to his business as a massage therapist. He makes sure that I understand which muscles do what, and why it is important for them all to work together. When I leave his treatment room, every part of my aching body feels better. He has helped tremendously with my plantar faciatis, my shin splints, my hip pain and my tight shoulders. He is professional and personable at the same time. His office is comforting and convenient. His knowledge of anatomy and muscle function is well beyond most massage therapists. I would attribute this to his extensive nursing background. I plan to continue to use Jim as my massage therapist for a long time.

I have been using this massage therapist for several months now. I have severe low back problems for years. I have been receiving a massage every 7-14 days and it has helped tremendously. I thought I had no alternative but surgery, but now I have changed my mind. When I leave Jim I am totally relaxed, refreshed and my back feels much better. Thank you Jim Neugass!

Jim is an excellent massage thrapist. He understands and explains what is creating your pain or discomfort, and then fixes it! He has been especially helpful for chronic overuse muscle pain and has shown me how to relax and stretch to keep it under contol as well as relieving any discomfort I'm suffering at the moment. He is helping me to be able to continue to do the work I love.

jim is an excellent massage therapist who has a very good grasp of anatomy and physiology, coming from a medical background as an RN. His treatments have been helpful in treating my lower back condition. He has strong hands which is an attribute for deep tissue massage. I certainly wound recommend him for a relaxing and therapeutic massage.RJM

My insurance doesn't cover massage, so I don't know if Jim is covered by insurance companies. When I wen to Jim, I had neck issues and fibromyalgia. His techniques have proved very effective in helping my healing process. He offers more for the money than any therapist I've ever seen; warm towels and hot stone, peppermint foot scrub, warm towel cold stone face massage, etc. He is also a nurse and has good knowledge of the human body. The environment is clean, beautiful and relaxing. I never want to leave afterwards. His personality and manner are gentle and humorous. He's fabulous!

Jim gives a great massage, focusing on problem areas, an re-evaluating with each visit. Have noticed an improvement in my back stress since starting with Jim.
