My mother was in Foulk Manor North in the Dementia unit for almost 2 years before she passed away. She received the best of care by the employees there. I found their staff to be kind, compassionate, patient and well trained in dealing with the very sad disease of Dementia. They were also great about contacting me with any changes in her condition and always had suggestions about how to handle each situation. I never dreamed my mother would adjust to being outside her home, but she did very well at Foulk Manor. Although it is very expensive, I would make the same decision to place her there if I had to do it again.
