They didn't listen to anything I had to say! Whenever I tried to get a word in, they either interrupted me or cut me off before I could finish. Just a warning, they do not adhere to the customer is always right policy no matter what the situation is. They never listen to customers complaints and argue with them instead of trying to correct the situation. My father is a diabetic. They do not offer a diabetic meal plan. His blood sugar has been high during his entire stay. We were told multiple times he would be seen by an Endicrynologist. It never happened. The staff does not know how much insulin to give. My father had one of the worst hospital experiences in my life here. I would never recommend them to anyone.

This listing is for the original Mid-Jeff Hospital that's been closed for some time. I'm pretty sure the below reviews are for Mid-Jefferson Extended Care Hospital, formerly Promise (just as horrible) located in the old Mid-Jeff location. They have a website & Facebook so post reviews there too for others looking.

Mid-Jefferson Extended Care is an extremely unsanitary & unsafe environment for anyone breathing. They did not have proper supplies such as washcloths, towels, bed linens or incontinent wipes (we had to go across the street to the pharmacy & buy them for my mom!) No gloves, no hand washing....we had to make a request for that too! She went in for rehab after surgery (walking & talking) & after a few weeks there ended up at home on hospice (wonderful people!) where she died in my arms a week later. Nurse's are uneducated & lied to us multiple times about her condition & the Physician pretended to be confused at her abrupt & obvious mental & physical decline & did nothing. We fought to have her moved & was met with a brick wall & lies. There's not enough room to include every horrible experience my family had at this place. Don't ever recommend to anyone!! Absolutely horrible place!! People are expendable for profit here!

Absolutely not. I was forced to call the emergency room.

No, and they didn't want me to seek anyone else's opinion

Definitely, they had one person trying to do everything

My mother was in the hospital here and it was horrible! She was constantly wet and laying in her own fecal matter several times! She rec'd no help or rehab from this facility and I would NEVER advise anyone to take their family member here. This place is not clean and the staff treat you as a burden when you ask them to care for your loved one. Please don't take your love one here.

My mother was their patient.They ignored my questions and never had answers Their staff was there for a paycheck only, not to care for their patients..It was a bother to them.. I didn't feel welcome there. They didn't help my mother when she needed them..Layed in her bowl movement for hours.. I was very disappointed. .They mis treated her, abusive to her, never cleaned her or washed her hair for 60 days..She died because of this place...Other families told me they had the same problems...Would not send my dog there...
