Took my grandson there on 1/5/22 because he had flu-like systems. The person at intake called my daughter to get approval to treat him. He was discharged and the discharge instructions said, "to receive a copy of your final culture report contact 262 6562289. When I called today 1/7/22 I was told by Glenda that the results were ready however they needed to mail me a consent in order for them to give me the results. They had no problem speaking to my daughter over the phone to get her consent to treat him so the hospital could get paid. But when she called for the results, she was told she had to come in.

I was just admitted to this hospital last week being pretty sick, and I'm so glad I was. I had an extremely positive & wonderful experience with every single person that talked and/or worked on me.

The layout & look of the hospital is great; the techs are great; the nurses are great; the R/A's are great; the doctors are great & personable; customer service is 20 stars; the room was private; the bed was mighty comfy, and the food.....the food is phenomenal !!! I ate like a queen with their new chef, and was treated so very well. I will be totally honest, I didn't want to leave to go home! God Bless St. Catherine's; when I need you again, I'll be back.

I have been going to this hospital for over a year, seeing the same OB/GYN through my pregnancy and after the birth of my baby, I decided to keep seeing this doctor for all my female needs. I called to schedule my yearly appointment back in August. The earliest they could get me in was today, October 13. On my way to my appointment, there was a lot of traffic and I was running a few minutes late. I called the doctors office to let them know that I was running late but would be there. They then informed me that my appointment was for October 3. I said no, it was scheduled for today. They then informed me that, yes, it was originally for today, but they tried contacting me to reschedule the appointment. When they were unable to get in contact with me, they went ahead and rescheduled it anyways. They then told me they could make another appointment for me, the soonest available, which isn't until December 15th. I already had to wait two months from August for today's appointment and now they are telling me that I have to wait another two months for another appointment and that they can put my on a waiting list for a sooner appointment. During my pregnancy, they tried rescheduling multiple of my appointments. The reason I was given for having my appointment rescheduled was that my doctor was going to a wedding and he was out of the office today. I really enjoy my doctor but the rest of the staff is impossible to deal with. I told them that I would be finding a new doctor and that I will no longer be a patient there. If they can't keep appointments then why should I keep them? I have already had to wait two months and now they want me to wait two more months? Like I said, it's shame because I really liked my doctor but the stress is not worth it.

It was a visit that was a TOTAL waste of our time! My husband & I went to the clinic to be seen for severe cold/bronchitis symptoms. No one knows their body as well as ones self. However, even after the doctor listened to our lungs, told us we were congested & took a 50% accurate swab for the flu, he would not give us a much needed prescription for an antibiotic. He spoke with us about a cough medicine to help us sleep & all he gave us was a straight up narcotic with NO cough medication in it AT ALL. We had to drive 15-16 hours home (sick as can be) to go to the clinic in VA, for the doctor there to say we had a severe case of bronchitis & should have been given something a week ago. She said ESPECIALLY me (Lorraine) since I have a weakened immune system because of having MS & the medication for that disease I'm already on. If anyone ever ask us if they should go to your clinic, our answer will be NO!!
In my opinion when St Catherine's was on Sheridan Rd., it was a much better run hospital.
And now the bills start rolling in & I Want to tell you that they are near the commode to be used for waste! But I have a higher power to answer to & He'll see to it that things get better or your doors close. The choice is ultimately yours.

I was in a lot of pain during my visit that I feel could have definitely been avoided if they had been more careful. Definitely got the impression that the doctor in the ER did not care. The Xray techs and nurses were ok but after the interaction with the doctor I will never willingly go here again.I am not going to refer my family and friends here. I just wasn't that impressed. Based on my experience at this hospital, I wouldn't recommend them to my friends, family, or foe.

Went to the ER on Friday July 5th. I was there due to major abdominal pain. While the nurses were all wonderful ( thank you Jill) , The doctor never looked me in the eye. He also lowered my bed with a swift clunk ( not those beds with the electric up and down) causing me to cry out in pain, he didn't even care. He treated me so poorly I was shocked, acting as if my symptoms were made up. Once he found out my husband was a Dr, he was nicer but by then I couldn't stand the guy. He discharged me saying nothing was wrong with me ( despite not being able to walk, and in extreme pain) .......long story short I go to another dr the next day to find out my pelvic bone was dislocated and I ruptured an abdominal muscle. THE NURSES were wonderful, but that Dr had the worst bed side manner I had ever seen, plus my insurance paid lots of $$ to have me misdiagnosed. How do you not see my pelvis is dislocated and that I ruptured a muscle?????

I had surgery recently and stayed one night at St. Catherine's. While I like my doctor, I have to give the hospital staff very poor ratings. During pre-op I told them I brought my prescriptions from home. They did not take them. They did not state anything they were doing to prep me and I had to ask questions of the numberous people that interacted with me. After surgery I woke up in recovery in a lot of pain and had to tell the nurse repeatedly that I was in a lot of pain and had to actually beg for pain medicine. Once in my room, which was in the new maternity ward, it was better, nice big room, but still saw a lot of different staff. Finally had one nurse for overnight shift who was very good, until she came to me at 6:30 am and said "I have some bad news..." You don't tell someone who just had surgery that they have bad news. I thought something was wrong with me. Then she went on to say that in a while they were going to move me because they had expectant mothers coming in. Literally 5 minutes later they scooped me up in a wheelchair, mind you I had not even take a step yet after surgery, and wheeled me down to the surgical unit. I could not take the heating pad or any other aids I had with me. This stressed my physically and I got a migraine. Being a life long sufferer, I had my meds with me, which they would not give me. They told me I should have given them to the nurse at check in. I told them I told the nurse I had them but she didn't do anything. So I had to wait until they could order it from the pharmacy. Headache getting worse, now I'm in tears and a lot of pain. I had again to beg for medicine. Finally got it. Then LPN came in with my prescriptions which she then dumped on the floor. Oh, also my bed didn't work right. Had bad switch. During the day I saw all kinds of people when I needed help, some were men, who were helping me out of the bathroom - did not like that. Finally told nurse on afternoon duty I wanted to go home that night. It took until 9:30 pm before I got to leave. Only reason I got out of there was because I made my husband go find me a wheelchair and I sat in the chair all packed up in the hallway waiting for nurse to get my discharge papers. By this time the one LPN would not come near me and just would look at me down the hallway and walk the other way. I was in tears and just wanted to go home but I think they deliberately took their time. Migraine came back but they still had my medicine I brought from home. I went to ask nurse for my meds and she said to me "Do you want me to finish this?" referring to discharge paperwork. I looked at her and said "I need my medicine. You do not keep a migraine sufferer from their medicine." VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Also was told many different things about when I could get discharged. No wonder this hospital is one of the only ones in the black, they have a very under-educated staff that they probably don't have to pay top compensation for. All in all, this hospital staff made me feel worse. If I didn't have to beg them for my medication, I feel my recovery while there would have gone much quicker.
