ER visit was totally unacceptable. Acute abdominal pain post-op colon surgery. Found to have a bowel obstruction. Was not seen for 7 hours! Treatment of symptoms started 8 hours later! Spent over 24 hours in an ER bed before surgical unit bed was available.
