I have been here four times in the last three years, twice in this last year. And although I come here for breathing and physical therapy, this is my favorite hospital. I have been to Loyolyal and Northwestern and Rush in Chicago, But the team that they have assembled here are amazing! Everyone cares about the patient and their wellbeing. They listen to the patient and take into consideration that perhaps they may have a better understanding of their body. And even the hospitalists, whom I normally don’t get along with are fantastic. Plus, the food is great. Thank you guys for everything you do for me every time I come here. I know it’s never under the best circumstances but you make it not only bearable but every time I see a nurse or staff, you make the day worth while, and make it easier for me to keep fighting. My stay at Kindred went very well! The staff treated me very well and I felt like family there the staff was very kind and caring. Rehab was a good experience too! Food was good too I couldn't complain I really enjoyed it. I would highly recommend Kindred to others in need of this type of facility because they know what they are doing and do it with compassion!

When I came to Kindred Sycamore I was ready to quit, the larger Hospital had already given up on me and had sent me on my way. When I got here I could not believe how compassionate the nurses and staff were! The rehab team is outstanding, especially Gary he gives the encouragement a person needs to get up and moving again. No nonsense nothing but encouragement from nursing staff to housekeeping! I would say at least 99% of my needs were met by the Kindred staff and I would highly recommend this facility for any patient looking to start rehab!

My stay at Kindred Sycamore went very well I came in with doubts about my recovery but thanks to the experienced staff at Kindred I'm leaving in great shape! I have to say the rehab team is great, you can't ask for a better group of motivating staff! The nursing staff is wonderful too they are some of the hardest working people and they are so hospitable. Thank you all for everything.

I would like to thank the Kindred Sycamore staff for the experience I had as a patient. When I arrived at Kindred I had just had an incision & drainage to my left hip. I could not walk, more importantly I didn't feel like getting out of bed.and was very depresses. The staff helped me feel better about myself and want to get out of bed, and go to physical therapy, and take care of myself. I felt like I arrived as a patient but on my departure I was leaving friends. Thank you for getting me back on my feet.

The care I received at Kindred was great from the Nurses to the maintenance crew! I really enjoyed my stay. I was treated like family and with dignity. My wound care was well taken care of and the nurses know their stuff. Food was pretty good my only issue was the slow wifi but other than that I highly recommend Kindred for anyone needing wound care.

Everybody and everything was so very nice here, everyone willing to help. If you walk out into the hall someone always came up to see if you needed anything or if everything was ok. We had our choice between Kindred or Holy Family and we are sure glad we choose Kindred. Kindred is so family oriented and the staff is so polite not only to visitors but to one another. I was very impressed by the way the aides talk to each other using please and thank you while caring for my loved one. You don't have to worry about your loved one when you leave because you know they are well taken care of! I can't thank the staff enough I will really miss them from the administrators like Jim, Marie, Kristi and nursing staff and kitchen staff for their smiling faces through these difficult times. Even though he was not so pleasant all the time I would give 10+ stars to this facility!

Happy with wound care team everyone has been outstanding and very helpful throughout my stay. My wound dressings were changed on a daily basis and everyday I watched as my wound got smaller and healed more and more thanks to the excellent team of nurses and doctors at Kindred. Thanks to rehab, I'm able to to get around and do things for myself and I'm back home. I can't thank the Kindred staff enough!

Food was very good and always on time. Nurses were very attentive eager to help in every way possible and the nurses are very knowledgeable. I can't say enough about the wonderful wound care team those nurses really know their stuff when it comes to getting wounds to heal. Doctors took the time to explain things so you what's going on. Rehab is so very good they worked me hard. After being on my back for so long they got me mobile again. The entire team is great!
