I can’t say enough about Karen Canada and Oasis Counseling! She has the nicest staff and the office environment is so warm and inviting. Karen is so compassionate and easy to talk to but yet at that the same time she was able to give me tools that helped me when I was getting too emotional or anxious. Medications don’t always help and Karen taught me how to be more in control of my emotions and my life in general! I felt completely comfortable talking to her and she has provided me the insight needed to make changes in my life. I don’t know where I would be without her guidance and support!

Karen is a caring young professional. She is capable of helping as she is solution oriented can listen and truly cares. I moved on to a more experienced mature and seasoned professional who is more open minded. When you are right out of school you have a closet full of labels and you try to match every client to a fitting box and then put a label and treat the person from this perspective. It does not always work. This approach can be very limiting and not helpful. I chose licensed professional with over 25 years of experience who knows life and trauma not only from the books. I would recommend this professional to clients who do not have life threatening condition and need a lift and a boost and help finding direction in life. Staff is super friendly. Experience is very positive but my issues were far and beyond the reach of such a young professional. In 30 years this practice will be stellar. Mrs Canada has points of reference and is capable of helping. It takes life and experience to be able to help people and this is why i moved on to a more fitting environment for me.
