I carried a healthy 9 month old dachshund to see this vet...I left her all day. I was told to pick her up after 4:30 pm. I got a break at work so I went to get her at 4:15 pm. When I got there I was informed that the doctor had not come in yet. I waited almost thirty more min before the doctor arrived ; he spent about two min with my dog then sent us on our way. 5 days later my dog was sick so I called the office and was told there was no Vet on call I would have to go to Dothan. Frustrated I called another Vet in town. 6 days after visiting Colony Vet Clinic my 9 month old dog was diagnosed with Parvo. Almost a week in the hospital we are still not sure our little one is going to make it. My husband called Colony Vet Clinic and a member of the staff told him that our dog could have picked up the virus at Wal-Mart... really? I mean I don't think the dog was out shopping at Wal-Mart...they took no responsibility at all.
Please be aware that Parvo is extremely contagious and most times fatal...so think long and hard before taking your pet to this clinic. It has cost me financially as well as emotionally as a matter of fact it may cost my dog her little life.
