I only keep returning because I really like the Vet. Dr. Allen is the best. I do not care for his receptionist who talks down to you when you are proving a point and today she hung up on me. The girl needs a major attitude adjustment. She would not hear what I had to say and she tried to make it sound like I was insulting her when I told her she talks down to some people and you can hear the attitude in her voice.
I asked to speak to the doctor or anyone else and she said no one was there.

No, They definitely believe in quality over quantity and allow more than enough time in between appointments

They have made me feel like family. Our dog is having issues with his shoulder and has been to seem them 3 times now as we tried conservative treatment, recheck, and now x-ray and biopsy. Leaving my pup there overnight was a tough decision but they care for him so much that it put me at ease knowing that he would be there. After our initial visit and the conservative treatment the staff called to check in. Dr even called to discuss treatement plans and next steps which I think was above and beyond. I highly recommend The Pet Hospital Hilo.
