I have never been so disappointed in a vet clinic before. I have been going to Candler Vet Clinic for almost two years, and have spent more than 2,000 dollars. Today, I requested that they fax in a prescription for me, because I wanted to buy my heart worm medication from another source that offers generic medication (but with the exact same ingredients) for less, and they refused. Animal care takes a back seat to the financial bottom line at Candler Vet Clinic. In addition to not working with me (all I asked for was a simple fax), the Vet Tech became very hostile and unbelievably rude. Also, to make things more difficult for me, they are making me come back to pick up my prescription tomorrow, as they did not have time to give it to me now. I feel like it is very offensive, because if they had just faxed in the medication, my dog would have the meds sooner- but they just don't care. Sad. I will never go to this vet again and I would recommend others do the same.
I took my cat in and spent about $1500 within a 2-3 month period to be informed they didn't know what else to do and I needed to get an endoscopy done on my cat; probably had cancer. Went to another vet in Candler who immediately identified the problem and now my cat is on a totally different path for just a fraction of what I spent at Candler Vet. They are also not good about keeping my cat's prescription food in stock and told me that although they were fully aware that it was a popular cat food and they normally keep it in stock, I needed to put in a special order for it. Have never had to do that anywhere else.

I registered just so I could leave a comment. This place is AWESOME!! If you don't believe me, look at the reviews. Just look at them! Former vet spent two years and lot's of prescription drugs treating symptoms. This place fixed my pet up on the very first visit. I wish I could make my vet my own doctor he's that good.

Not at all! I've never seen my pet so calm. They really have a gift with animals here.
