Other reviewers you see on sites like YELP are full of hype. Yeah, the equipment is old, but as long as you're not acting like an idiot, it's perfectly functional and will accommodate your workout routine just fine. My experience with customer service has been fine. When I signed up, the lady was really nice and very helpful. Maybe management is a pain to deal with, I couldn't say for sure, but my experience has been pleasant. Also, coming from a big city where there were often wait-times for machines and you had to make reservations for classes, having to use older machines is a minor trade-off. The facility never seems crowded and they use their space well. At the end of the day, it's a good place for a workout, and that's all it needs to be. It's a small-town gym, after all, not an elite health club.
