I brought my doctor there a few days ago. He was prescribed some eye drops and the doctor recommended an E Collar for 2 weeks. When I received my dog , I noted his E Collar was secured with a clear tape. I assumed it must be a reminder to keep the E Collar on at all times. Over the weekend, the tape accumulated water and food debris. I wiped it down the E Collar and I noticed the tape was coming off, so I removed it because it was falling off anyway. When I removed it the E Collar came apart. The tape was actually holding it together instead of the long strap that is usually treaded through the device to keep it in place. This was strange as no staff mentioned the tape and care of the E Collar when I received my dog. So I secured the outside of the E Collar with durable tape. I called the office today and inquired about the E collar. I was told to bring my dog in to have it exchanged. I bring my dog over there and a staff member comes and take my dog to have it exchange. Another staff member returns with my dog all aggressive and condescending in her tone. The E collar was not exchanged. She proceeds to rant that the E collar is not broken, how they are a eye clinic , and how it was cut to customize it for my dog... Just rude! This is not the first time my dog has had an E Collar. My dog had surgery there a few years ago and he had a E collar that did require clear tape to stay secure. Furthermore, Did anyone mention that the E Collar was secured with tape and to expect food and water to get in the tape and to expect that I would need to replace the tape? No, poor communication. And instead of an apology, I get an aggressive and rude rant. And the most insulting comment of hers was "this is an eye clinic", Like I don't know where I brought my dog.

Dr. Keppel found the dire problem our regular vet could not...thankfully our sweet girl is on her way to recovery...we have found our new allergy/skin specialist

Excellence in care, clean exam rooms, professional attitudes, and hey healed my dogs eye problem (Ulcer on the Cornea). Nothing else matters except the cure, and those that know how to deliver it.
