I give 5 STARS --I have used them for several years as I cannot handle my large dog that is a basset hound/golden retriever mix. It is so nice and safer for my dog than the Vet's office on a busy highway -especially if she pulls away from me. Doorstep is more reasonable and flexible to what YOU want for your dog.

Dr. Ashman is one of the best, if not the best, veterinarians in the Huntsville area. Besides the convenience of her coming to you, Michelle is thorough in explaining her diagnoses, fairly priced, extremely kind and a lover of animals. We used her for many years until one of our cats required specialized care. We then made the mistake of moving all of our babies to the specialized veterinarian and are in the process of returning to Dr. Ashman. She has helped us every step of the way when it comes to our fostering efforts with medical advice, suggestions on over the counter treatments, and just plain old support.
I cannot recommend her enough!

Dr. Ashman is a wonderful vet--very knowledgeable, caring and competent. She provided exceptional care to our two old cats, who made it to 18 years and 19 years. Now we have two kittens, and Dr. Ashman is providing the same skilled care for them. The fact that Doorstep DVM comes to your house, and has a van with everything needed for examinations and surgery, is just a bonus on top of the great services offered. The kittens greet Dr. Ashman enthusiastically when she comes to see them, which tells me she is gentle with them despite having to give them shots and all the other "indignities" that go with a proper examination. You can even stay in the van while she examines and treats your pets (except for surgery, of course). Doorstep DVM will always be our vet!
