This woman gave me a third degree burn on my abdomen by leaving a heating lamp near my exposed skin and, being involved with a potential new patient, never checked on me until my acupuncture session was over.

When I advised her of this she did offer to see me the next day and sent me several emails of "concern".

I was too upset to see her the next day but I did see her about 2 weeks later and she appeared to blanche when she saw my abdomen. She offered to SELL me a product that might help and advised me to see a dermatologist or plastic surgeon immediately.

I did so and during the course of my treatment my dermatologist had consistently encouraged me to sue Ms. Mao for malpractice and was worried about how well I would be able to heal. I consulted an attorney about 1 year after the event. I had been erroneously believed I needed to wait a year or I would have done so immediately. Ms. Mao did not reply to any of my attorney's letters until he said that we would be suing. As she had NO MALPRACTICE INSURANCE at the time and had consulted with an attorney from her professional association, I had to settle for a small compensation that would not have covered my medical expenses (including medications) had I not had good insurance.

Three years later, I still have a very visible scar which disturbs me greatly. My dermatologist said this was the best it would heal and I can't afford plastic surgery. I also have periods of abdominal pain which my medical doctor did confirm was the result of continued changes in the scarification beneath my skin.

I personally would strongly discourage you from seeking services from this woman.

Dr Faith Mao assited me in getting back my overall general health with a complete re-energizing of my body systems. I was always not feeling up to par, not any one specfic thing, just not right. After 1st treatment, the next few weeks, I began to feel great.. I decided that a maintance program was in order, since I am a sales person and on the go daily..
Thanks to Dr Mao, I am feeling great...
