My Mom has lived at Grace for almost 5 years. She always receives the best of care, is always clean, her room is immaculate, she is so happy there, and everyone is extremely kind and helpful. I wouldn't want her living in any other facility. She calls Wesbury home. I'm thankful to have a place where she will be taken care of morning, noon and night, a place that has so many activities for her to be involved in from singing in the choir, to bingo and dominoes, or crafts. I can visit at any time unannounced and I never find her care any different than when the facility knows I'm going to visit ahead of time.

Wesbury has a beautiful building and many nice features. It is hit or miss on employees. There are some wonderful aides and some that should never be working with the elderly. Disrespectful and very unkind. My relative is dirty, nails long and dirty, and unshaven. He is not ambulatory and when he called for help to use the bathroom or bedpan, he was told to "poop in his pants." My relative is one of the nicest guys you would ever meet. Earlier this week, a male aide asked the unkind aide is this the guy that is so "nasty?' (In front of me and my relative!) She responded how she didn't want to be there. She needed a vacation. The other aide reminded her she just came back from vacation. I have watched her interact with the other patients in the dining room and on his wing. She is as unpleasant to them as she is to my relative. When I spoke to her about her manner with my uncle, she told me "that was her way".
I can only get voicemail and no one is responding or calling me back .
As far as skilled nursing, don't kid yourself these are aides and a LPN on
each wing. I am very afraid my uncle will experience retribution so I want this anonymous.
