I want to give a Hugh, Enormous, Gigantic Shout out to an Entire group of people. With my Mother being in Pine Lodge naturally I go there almost daily and the men and mainly women who work there have one of the most Stressful jobs on the Planet. From the time I get until I leave it's Non Stop someone yelling at them or asking them to do something and for the most part it's 2 or 3 trying to take care of an entire section which I think is around 30 to 40 people. Some are Very Rude and Yell at them and it never ends from the time they walk in the door until they walk back out.This IS NOT a pleasant job but from what I see they always treat everyone with Respect and for the most part do it with a smile on their face. Sometimes when I think, damn what a day, I think of them and realize how Blessed I am. I wish everyone at Pine Lodge and every Nursing home could read this because you have No idea how much I appreciate the HARD WORK you put in taking care of my Mother and so many others. Thank you. Thank you so much.

They answered most of my questions but I could have used more information. Their staff was friendly enough, but they didn't go out of their way to help me. My dad developed cough, chills, then sweating. Man in room had to go tell the nurse. Didn't come soon enough. Normally, my dad could get out of bed on his own; this time he could not. Had to urinate before help came, so wet himself. Nurse practitioner checked his lungs, we were told they were clear but would order a check x-ray. Results of x-ray showed slight pneumonia in right lung. My sister and I heard a man across the hall yell for a cover for at least an hour one evening. No help came. Maintenance man sweeping hall came by his door, checked on him, and went and got him a cover. I feel this facility is staffed well enough to provide much better service. It seems as though, when you get older, they just DO NOT CARE. God help those who are in there and do not have family coming in all during the day to check on them. Nursing care for the most part has gone by the wayside. Would not recommend facility to others.

Yes, they made me feel like I shouldn't have called

Yes, I could tell they were cleaned regularly
