I recently saw the doctor for an annual physical, which is covered at 100% by my insurance. After having vitals and EKG by nurse, dr Marcos came in and she asked about any health issues. I told her my acid reflux was not improving and I. Was thinking about changing to another Rx recommended by a friend with similar issues. Doctor gave me samples to try, which is good, but when I checked out, discovered I was being charged not only for the annual, but for an addnl. Office visit because we "discussed" changing medications and they had to "make notes" in my file! Outrageous!! You should tell patients this before transitioning to "office visit". If I'd known I would have discussed my health issues more thoroughly.. I like dr Marcos, but am distressed and disappointed to have been treated this way after being a long-time patient.

Once again I was handed the other Bonnie Jones' info. My visit with Dr. M. and what she was telling me about my labs was not matching what I was told by MA. Dr. M. read off thyroid, Vit. D, blood sugar counts, etc. but when I was handed my lab report by MA it was only for thyroid screening by Quest on 7/24/14. I was confused. Was told ins. will only pay for complete labs once per yr. and that Dr. M had only ordered thyroid screening at this time. Will need full labs in Jan. 2015 at 6 mo. appt. I had to return to pick up Med. Directive papers. Also did not get Tetanus shot as was told I needed one by Dr. M. MA was very patient at trying to get answers for me.

Please enter your review here. Dr. Marcos is a thorough doctor and
very easy to talk to and answers your questions. The wait for my
appointment was not as long today - there is improvement in the
way the office is run. However, I put up with that to see Dr.Marcos!!

Dr. Marcos is an excellent primary physician. Her office and examining rooms are immaculate and comfortable. Her staff are friendly and professional. Waiting time in front office and examining room is very acceptable. Appointment reminders are timely. Her referrals to specialists are well chosen for the patient.
