I have been a patient of Dr. Shutt for many years, his warm personality has kept me coming back. However, I am now realizing the quality of care has been lacking. I feel that he does not really know who I am or my history. He has not asked me about doing blood work in years, or having a mammogram ,etc. etc. He is supposed to be my primary care physician. I went to him complaining of radiating leg pain and pointed out a vein in my leg that was bulging. He said I should have a sonogram?? done as soon as possible. I relayed that I am one of the "poor" older folk that has to work and to please schedule the test for the following Wed. that would have been today. Well though I had spoken to his nurse on a unrelated issue and reminded her of this and said if not Wed. than Thurs. would be okay I have never heard back from Dr. Shutt's office. It is now 5:23 pm on Wed. 8/24/11. I am really disappointed in Dr. Shutt. I truly believe that he does not stay apprised of his patients history, and stay on top of when routine tests should be done. I have had to ask him about getting a flue shot, pneumonia vaccine, shingles vaccine and so on.

I was so impressed with how great they were at answering each and every question I had in-depth. They were so patient, and covered all of the bases until I had no more questions. I'm always amazed at how considerate and concerned they are for my well-being. Their advice is always wonderful and completely unbiased. I was completely at ease during my appointment here. They went to great lengths to make sure I was completely relaxed and comfortable the entire time. They always go above and beyond to help me with anything I need. They never complain about anything, and I know I can always count on them. Their office equipment was in superb shape and looked very advanced. I definitely felt safe under their care.
