I was recommended by a friend to get a stimulator for my back. I sent my records to him as was requested of me to do. After doing all that, he would not take me on as a patient. NO REASON GIVEN. He should have on his website that he's not taking new patients if that's the case. No where is that found. Or is it because I have worker's compensation, which I was told he did take as insurance. He seems to be so high and mighty that he doesn't even have to decency to tell a patient why he won't take him on. POS doctor.

I concur with another reviewer on the subject of a staff too young whom have not developed empathy for the patients and their illnesses. NONE of them have experience answering/conversing on the phone professionally and politely; i.e., when a call is made to either Long Island location, the girls answer the phone with a simple hello that which is off-putting, especially for new patients (like I was not too long ago) because you wonder if you dialed the right number. I'm about their average age (Millennials) and even *I* know the correct form of telephonic communication. It should be/go like this:

"Receptionist" - Hello, Dr. Tzou's office. My name is Common Courtesy. How can I help you today?

OR

"Receptionist" - Long Island Pain Management, this is Common Courtesy speaking, how may I be of service?

The office girls come off like they're too good to *have* to deal with patients or work with patients to get pre-authorizations on procedures/meds. Especially Erica and Elizabeth (office manager)

Almost all the staff are young and not as compassionate as you would expect staff to be in a field which deals with pain. (this I heard from older nurses at a local Hospital which proved to be accurate).
