I wish giving him a "0" was an option. He's the absolute worst doctor I have ever met. His arrogance is mind-blowing. I ended up switching to a new OBGYN at 40 weeks and 4 days!! He refused to acknowledge my decision of having a natural birth ( or as natural as possible). He talked me into pre-scheduling an induction as early as 39 weeks, thank God I cancelled it. 99% of his deliveries are induced, as this coincides with his golfing schedule. He is in the business of making $, and that is his ONLY priority. All he cares about is making sure you invest in cord blood banking, since he receives a very hefty commission from the process. He has his wife, Cindy, (who is not a doctor!!!) take care of his patients. I didn't actually get to meet him until I was already 5 months pregnant. He simply DOES not care about his patients!! Ladies, please do your research on pitocin and the effects it has on your unborn child. This is the drug used for induction. His license should be revoked!

They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there. They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and didn't answer all my questions. I don't know who is worse Burns or his office staff. I refuse to use the title "Doctor" when it comes to Burns because he doesn't deserve it. Does Burns remember the Hippocratic Oath he took, I think he needs to reread it again & honor it. I have seen Burns twice in the last month & he could have done a biopsy on me to see if I have “CANCER” & “he” chose not to. Instead he wants me to wait another 3 weeks & do an invasive test to find out. Why put me thru the invasive testing if I don’t have cancer. I guess I have a great insurance plan. Does this man realize the anguish someone goes thru not knowing if they have cancer or not & to have the patient keep waiting for the results, not sure if he realizes but the sooner you catch cancer the better the outcome. Then I tryed to obtain my file to go to a Doctor & OMG between Burns & Billy Joe I can't believe what they put me thru & to date I still don't have my records. Also don't ask Burns any questions he is sarcastic & condescending.

New patients be forewarned – the office will charge your credit card at least $25.00 to reserve your appointment. The office manager, Billie Joe, will tell you that they only hold your cc info in case you cancel without giving proper notice….but charge your card anyway. Billie Joe is also in dire need of a customer service refresher course as she lies to customers, keeps credit card numbers out on a clipboard for the whole office to see, and will insult you if you question her lies. If the Doctor can allow his front office to be mismanaged, it’s an indicator to me that this is not a reputable practice.

After many years with one OB/GYN, he retired. Dr. Burns was recommended by my physician's office, so I decided to meet with him. I was very pleased. The office was comfortable, the staff was friendly and Dr. Burns was great! He answered all my questions and was very thorough.

After having had a D&C performed by Dr. Burns, which then led to complications, I have been having horrible cramps due to what I now know to be a blockage. When I called him - alarmed because I was in so much pain he SCOLDED me for calling him at 12am. How DARE I wake him up for cramps -- and to take an advil. It was not like I just had random cramps - I knew there was definitely a blockage and was scared. He did not listen to me, interrupted me, berated me like I was a child and was more concerned with if my insurance would make him redo things or my regular gyno. This man is a heartless jerk who doesn't deserve to be in this profession. We pay HIS salary and have every right to ask whatever questions we have if we are concerned with our health. I of course got off the phone, cancelled my appointment for the next day and am lost without knowing who to go to for this procedure or who to trust. DO NOT GO TO HIM - his staff is also VERY rude - trickles down from the top I guess!
