Please refrain from going there as the staff takes you like they are paying you for your treatment and treat you rudely.

My worst experience.....

Horrible dentist, stay away!!

I had visited Woodlands Dental Care previously for a routine cleaning, so I decided to return again in April of 2015 when a large portion of my back tooth chipped off. The wait time was only about 10 minutes, and everyone was polite at the office. They did x-rays of the area and an exam, before I spoke with the doctor about the results. She informed me that the decay on the chipped tooth was getting pretty bad, and they would have to carve out the deep cavities on both the side (where it chipped) and the top of the tooth. The tooth next to it also had decay spreading to it, which would need the cavity scraped out and a filling placed in as well. She also informed me that because of the depth of the cavities I would need a root canal on the chipped tooth, as well as a cap put over it because fillings on both the side and top wouldn't hold. Overall estimate was $2,000 - even with insurance!

I was skeptical and baffled, and decided to get a second opinion before paying that much. A week later I had an appointment with another dentist across The Woodlands, who was also very professional, well reviewed, and recommended to me by a friend. They also took x-rays and did an exam, and that dentist said one filling on each tooth would be just fine to fix the problem. She said MAYBE 5-10 years down the line when this new filling starts to wear out (as they all do eventually) I could need a root canal, but that's only if the dentist I'm seeing at that time doesn't catch the loose filling in time before the decay starts to spread towards the nerve again.

The second dentist is going to charge me $180, for just two fillings! Stay away from Woodlands Dental Care, they were going to lie about performing a root canal on me (or actually do it?!), and put an unnecessary expensive cap on a tooth that wasn't all that bad. $2,000 vs. $180, you tell me which dentist visit you'd prefer! Stay far, far away, they are only seeking money and will do all they can to make your fake procedure seem urgent!

This is the worse place I ever been for a dentist, they are only interested in money, please don't go, I went there just for a tooth revision and get the price to fix it and they made a full revision of my entire teeth saying that I don't have to pay anything, and as my insurance did not wanted to pay for that they charged me, I tried to talk with them, explain the situation, but nothing happen, I paid, but never will return to this place, I asked them to retire my files, very disappointed.

Office staff exhibit extremes in people skills. One day they're friendly and helpful... the next they'll barely acknowledge your existence (other than when they want you to pay). The dentist seems professional and friendly and one of the two hygienists is extremely kid friendly... the other one is so-so. Our insurance is accepted and it's conveniently located... what more can I say?

I wasn't completely satisfied with my visits later, all the problems I have had with the work done.. Waste of time and money if you ask me. I didn't gain much long term results from my appointments with this provider. Don't think I'll have much good to say if someone asks me about it. The chairs in their waiting room were pretty average. They gave me all the information I needed about fees and payment plans before they scheduled my treatment. I appreciated them giving me enough information to consider my options before paying for it. I wasn't too impressed with the staff waited forever when calling on the phone. They could have been a lot more friendly.

The dentist office is not accomodating at all. They will not make an appt for exam & cleaning in the same day for new patients(must make 2 appts). I waited 45 minutes in the office on the day of my EXAM ONLY. They will NOT do an exam without doing X-rays. They will NOT do a cleaning without doing an exam. I asked a few questions, and staff could not provide a reasonable answer. I told them if they can't do just a cleaning and an exam without x-rays, then this is not the place for us, and their response was indifference. I want to be able to make the decisions on my healthcare, and not be forced to do unnecessary procedures. Do not waste your time at this dentist office - GO ELSEWHERE!!

Worst experience ever! They are rude, they wouldn't file our claim to insurance until we paid the 1500 out of pocket cost saying they would reimburse us after insurance approved the claim and 8 months later we are getting a bill in the mail because they didn't even file anything to insurance until 3 months after our exam (which we didn't even have the same insurance, so they won't pay for it). Thankfully, we never paid them a penny and the billing office is taking care of it, but I will NEVER recommend them to anyone.
