I still feel sick and am in pain but the dentist brushed it off. It gets better. The two employees at the front desk started complaining ABOUT ME right in FRONT OF ME. I was finally lead to the back after daring to complain about the pain I was experiencing and had another employee get angry because I refused an x-ray. I told the sighing, unprofessional person on the phone what the problem was at least FOUR TIMES two days in a row. Why couldn't the sighing teenager on the phone at least warn me an x-ray may be needed so I could check with my insurance first? It would have been no problem at all for me to call but instead I get a nasty look from an employee when I said no thank you. I pretended to be happy but threw up outside because the nausea and stress from the visit was so bad. Even worse the male dentist who was capable of telling me what was going on to begin with never bothered to ask permission on "extra work". I asked what it was and "discoloration was fixed" was my only reply. It was not put on the chart when I inquired after calling to ask about pain being normal this long after seeing a dentist. I've never hurt this bad for this long after seeing one and wanted to know what went wrong by going in. Since when is the patient's opinion about their body ignored and the staff so rude? Doctors don't do "extra" work with a person when they cut them open! Why would a dentist do anything without explaining it and telling people what would happen? I was NEVER told anything and questions were ignored. I even asked other people if I came off as a jerk when I just asked a simple question. "Is it normal to feel pain and sensitivity after seeing a dentist?" I was in no way a jerk and am very upset about this. I was seen a while ago so I'll be going elsewhere from now on since this never was an issue before. His fix wasn't a fix and now I am in MORE pain. He should be sent the bill and grinding someone's teeth to mess them up is just WRONG. Go elsewhere if you value being treated like a person. The x-ray was just for money and if they were "just filling a tiny cavity" then why are there so many problems doing just that while claiming "extra work" was done! Bottom line: You do NOT just go hog wild on a person's mouth who has developed horrific anxiety going to a dentist without telling them anything. You do NOT do whatever you want and get mad when someone complains about pain. What happened to communication? I really miss the excellent dentist I had on the East Coast - he treated me like a person. Imagine that.

This was been bugging me. I go in to get minor cracked tooth fixed. (tried to sell me a crown fo $750) She drills too deep damages the root. So I go back couple weeks later - they try to sell me a root canal $750. BUT tooth still cracked. So Now I need a root canal and a crown. $1500 !! So after telling me that they didnt damage the root and I was wrong. Anyways they pulled the tooth they damaged (400 total for original time I went in - then 200 more more for pulled)- I can tell they disliked pulling it cause it just that much less $ they get. - They use all sorts of tricks and tactics - such as flipping you back in the chair then bring in a pretty lady or two then try to sell you expensive work - they try to use a mans ego. - So they pull my tooth - someone else had a tooth pulled in the next room over - The lady looks at me and says dont drink alcohol or smoke cigarettes - then she goes to the next stall - and just tells him to be careful. (I dont drink or smoke but I used to) - either way it is a type of prejudice based on what a person looks like. Luckily I am getting out BF oklahoma this year. Also one odd thing - I thought some bone fragments were coming out the gum line - I just happen to work with super glue - just letting you know... - Adios.
