This office one of the many during confounding and frustrating years I spent trying, unsuccessfully to find a Reno dentist and staff who are professional, clean, up-to-date, courteous, kind, posted my payments, treated me with honor, were accommodating to my disabilities, and were respectful of my time by being on time. The waiting area here is rather cramped. People often have to stand as there is not enough chairs. I wasn't greeted at all when I walked in the door. No one seemed to notice or care that I was there. Not only did I not receive any sample toothbrushes or toothpaste to take home, they rushed me out the door. It seemed like they couldn't wait for me to leave. They didn't tell me anything about my treatment options. I left feeling very confused and frustrated. Whenever I have a question, even if it's very basic, they always make me schedule an appointment, which is extremely frustrating. I found this office to be rude, arrogant, all about money, theirs, and none about customer service.

They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Their staff is very friendly and professional. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. I was able to get a new crown from start to finish in just 2 hrs. No need to deal with a temporary crown or no need to come back in three weeks. Dr. Sims is up on all the new technology. Dr. Sims has a great chair side manner, always explaining as he goes so there are no surprises and it made me feel completely at ease. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Sims and of course his staff. Thank you Dr. Sims!!

It was very easy to get an appointment. They have a very flexible schedule and get me in quickly every time. They offer the great pricing, with options explained. I couldn't believe how little I ended up having to pay. I'm sure that the crowns and fillings I got will last for a long time. I could tell that they did a fantastic job putting them in. This is to thank Stephen L. Sims and his capable staff for taking such good and professional care of my dental needs. Without their intervention, I would probably have plates in my mouth by now. As an example of the quality work they do, in an afternoon session, a root canal was performed and three crowns made and placed in my mouth without the slightest discomfort to the patient, me, Leo Maktenieks. They were ready to see me when I showed up for my appointment. I never had to wait for them to show up. They were so nice and professional and even called me to remind me about my upcoming appointment. Not only could I tell that the practiced good oral hygiene themselves, they had one of the brightest smiles I've ever seen. It gave me a lot more confidence that I was seeing someone who knew what they were talking about. Not only do they never postpone my appointment, they always try to get me in as soon as possible. I love that I can always get an appointment right away, and I never have to worry about them rescheduling it. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I have been a patient of this provider for over twenty five years and I can honestly say that Steve Sims is the friendliest, most competent and ethical dentist I have ever been to.
