Dr. James LaFleur has been my primary care doctor for many years. He has seen me thru heart surgery, hernia surgery, two knee replacements, and other medical problems. When in the hospital I can always count on seeing him every morning stopping in to check on me. When needed he has always referred me to the best specialists in the area. Years ago when I was out of work he helped me out with reduced office visit charges and prescription samples until I was able to get back to steady employment with benefits. He has always been friendly and professional with me. His dedicated staff and updated computer system add even more to his services. The waiting room is comfortable well furnished and has a rest room available. I don't remember waiting more than 20 minutes at most for any of my appointments. I would give Dr. James LaFleur an A+ rating.

I highly would not recommend this physician. A lot of times we couldn't get our kids into Dr. La Fleur's office, thus we opt to go to an urgent care clinic instead. Who wants their child to wait a day for a treatment. So how does La Fleur handle this.....well definitely not professionally. He chastised us for always going to an urgent care clinic instead to him. It's apparent that he is looking out for his pockets instead of the well-being of his patients.

I wouldn't go to any other Doctor. He always takes ample time to help me and no matter what it is they fit me in same day for an appointment. He is open to alternative ways to help yourself too if you have the knowledge about it and talk it over with him. He won't just be a pill pusher for you if you don't want a pill pusher Doctor.

Also, I read the one review about him not being able to deal with the end stages of life very well. And I can relate to that as I had a similar experience with my Mother. But it's not that he can't deal with it, it's that he tells it exactly like it is and at a time like that it isn't something a family wants to hear. I was upset with him during those times but when it was all said and done I realized everything he said was spot on and I actually appreciate his honesty.

My father had been a patient for many years and things had always went well until my father was in the last year of his life. Dr. LaFleur's skill in dealing with this time of life was poor and my father had to change Drs.
