The issues with Dr. Aldy's practice are multiple:
1. The office staff are non-caring, non- helpful, brash, loud and rude, plus, the phones lines are always busy, which makes it difficult to follow up or even make appointments. They don't reach out to you with updates, you must call, and call, and call.

2. Dr. Aldy's work is subpar at best. I had a crown put in by her that kept falling out and a second one that's now cracked as though constructed from the poorest material.

3. Most disturbingly, Dr. Aldy referred me to LSU school of dentistry for implants but after I got the implants put in, she has refused to provide me with follow up care and service claiming that it is too difficult to obtain my records from LSU. Her office staff, when I called for an update after weeks of not hearing back, said that the fee she was charging me was not enough for the difficulty of acquiring my records. So, I am now left with two implant bases with no crowns because she is "not interested in following through with the procedure". That, to me, was an insult, which shows how little she cares about me as a client.

Dr. Aldy and her staff are reasonably friendly. The office looks neat. When I have an emergency, I get an appointment quickly.

My problems with this dentist is cleanliness and professional attitude. In the area of sanitation, many of Dr. Aldy's dental hygienist do not wash their hands. They do not change their gloves as often as they should when working on patients. I have experienced sore throats after being treated there. Also, she gets upset when you ask her questions about unsatisfactory service she has provided. I feel insulted by her telling what dental procedures are too expensive for me.

If you want cleanliness and respect, don't go to Dr. Aldy.
