We began using Dr. Woesser upon moving back to New Orleans in 2009. No serious health issues, simply went for sinus infections or for prescription maintenance medication refills.

Unless you have the first appt of the day or following lunch, prepare to wait between 45 min - 1 hr just go get into a room.

At this point, if the doctor is in a good mood he'll write a script for antibiotics or refills normal meds, etc. If he's had a bad day or just irritated, he'll arbitrarily change prescription dosing amounts, only to return to the original dose at a later date or will simply refuse to refill and makes you return at a later date then to act as if nothing ever happened and everything is fine.

I'd imagine there was a day in time that Dr. Woessner enjoyed being a physician, however his current disposition is detrimental to building a trusting relationship with the person entrusted with your health.

Our entire family changed physicians after Dr. Woessner decided to flex his God-like power after a recent visit. We've had enough. Our ONLY reason for staying as long as we did was because of his staff; they're fabulous. Unfortunately not great enough to offset his vacillating style of treatment (or lack thereof).

Yes, they were able to do almost nothing they originally said they could

Never, I've been going here forever and they can't even remember my name

Please save yourself the trouble and your health. This man gave me antibiotics to get rid of a tumor, and when I informed him that nothing was changing after almost a week of antibiotics, he told me "Why don't you just leave it in the hands of God", a direct quote, he also refuses to refill medications that your life depends on, unless yu can schedule an immediate appointment that adheres to HIS schedule. In short, this man has no business practicing medicine. And the tumor required surgery to be removed, and was done by another doctor who is competent.
