Word of warning to anyone seeing this doctor: this guy had me on 8 medications - some of which interacted very badly with others I was taking. When I started seeing this doctor I was on two medications. Within one year I was on 8. Some at extremely high doses. This near-lethal cocktail landed me in the ER where three resident psychiatrists told me that this was an irresponsible, unethical, and dangerous dose of medication. Now, with a new doctor, I am on one very low dose medication and have been happy, healthy, and productive for over a year. This guy is not only unfriendly, arrogant, and will flat-out talk over you and tell you what you "need" his conduct could actually get you hurt. Be wise, seek a second opinion, or find a more competent psychiatrist. Check online - many people report both an attitude problem with this guy and a tendency to way over-medicate his patients - sometimes very dangerously. I wish I had listened to others first!

I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. Very unprofessional. Over prescribes medication - quite a cocktail! Said he took my suicide attempt personally. Wouldn't wish his service on my worst enemy. Do not recommend to anyone.

I was a patient for years. Then after a a crisis, Dr. Samuelson dropped me from his clientele BY MAIL! It was obviously more a matter of liability than responsibility with him. I expected too much.
