Receptionist is incredibly rude. They would not help me with some information and hung up after my mother came back with some missing documents. Such an unprofessional environment.

I have gone to Dr. Butler for nearly 20 years. The fact that I have stayed with her so long should tell you how good a doctor she is! She has always answered my questions, and takes all of my questions very seriously. I hope she stays in Ottumwa for years and years, because I intend to keep going to her. She keeps up on all of the latest medical information. She genuinely cares about me, and all of her patients. I recommend Dr. Butler very, very highly.

They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there. I feel like my appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left.

The answers above are the canned answered from the survey. When I arrived for my appointment, the admission lady or person otherwise sitting at the check-in window absolutely refused to assist me until she finished stuffing her mouth full of her doughnut. My next contact took me to gather my vitals and reeked of cigarette smoke so heavy I gagged. When I was finally able to see Dr Butler, she examined everything except the two issues I had went in for, telling me that I would need to come back for a follow-up appointment. The oddest part of my entire encounter was that Dr Butler herself was extremely personable. Unfortunately, that does not resolve the medical issues.
