something is seriously wrong with this office. i ended up leaving after sitting there 2 hours. 11 people waiting noone being called. doctor wandering around looking confused. receptionist and dental assistants very depressed looking. they need new management obviously and doctor needs help.

Dr. Haan is a lot better than what Preventive Dental used to be. I went to another clinic in the area and they broke my tooth and tried to get me to pay for a gold crown and when they realized I didn't have that kind of money they were really rude to me . Dr. Haan did a really good job on my broken tooth after chemo.

I went to them as a patient covered by full MediCal dental, I wanted to have my wisdom teeth pulled because they were causing problems for me. I was told at the time that this dental office was the only one in our area who would accept MediCal. I was told by one of the dentists that worked there that they would pull my wisdom teeth with no problem, when I arrived for my appointment to have them pulled I was told that I would be seeing a different dentist that day. The dentist that I saw that day was Injoo Han, the main dentist at that office, after the numbing had started he told me he was not going to pull all four of my wisdom teeth but would only pull the top ones. I told him that was not the plan, or what I wanted to do, he then got very upset and told me that he was not going to pull my bottom ones because they already had cavities and he could see that I had been having trouble cleaning them, and that he was going to leave them in place but do fillings in them. I then asked him why he would think that I would want him to leave them if they already had cavities and he knew I was having trouble cleaning them, so again I said that I wanted all four of them pulled. This time he got even madder and yelled at me that he would not pull all of them. I should have walked out the door right then but I didn't, and now I have an abscess wisdom tooth, one of the bottom ones he refused to pull, and only put a filling in. The process of the fillings and the extraction of the teeth was also very painful do to the fact that he was so angry he didn't even care when I told him I could still feel the pain and just kept on going. Then he would yell at me when I would flinch or pull away in pain. I am taking my time writing all of this so anyone that finds it hopefully never have the same kind of experience I did. I don't know how good or bad the price was, I remember if they gave any kind of free sample toothbrushes, the front desk ladies were easily annoyed with questions from patients, and always had the tv blasting. There was one person who worked there that was very nice, she was the assistant.

Staff were friendly, the dentist was a demeaning jerk. I'm not even sure if his diagnosis was accurate. I pointed to the screen to say where the problem was, and he YELLED at me not to touch that. (I'm 45 years old with a computer science degree, not some child!) Nor did he offer me an alternative like a print out or the oversized plaster mouth he subsequently pulled out to identify what he thought. He didn't care what I thought.
Minor points: the AC was so cold I needed a blanket in August, and the laugh track television show that dominated the waiting area had me stressed out before I could even see him.
I'll never go back to him.

I have never liked them there and never heard great things about it. I have been there a few times and there are always new people. It's unfortunate that I have had to go there as long as I have but their the only ones around who take CMSP. The staff doesn't seem to care about you at all or try to make you feel comfortable. I went in for a routine check up and cleaning. Found I had two cavities. One who I brought up to the Dr. When going to fill them the tooth that I saw a black dot on wasn't even the tooth he filled and when drilling he took a piece of my tooth off leaving rough edges and blobbed the cement all over that some even got on the side of my tooth and dried. For several months it scratched my cheek. So rough the whole time I actually laid there crying cause the pain.
