I had a surgery with him. After the surgery I lost 50 pounds because he did not operate like he should. I called for followup appt and he kept telling me to talk to his nurse. I wanted to talk to him since he was the one that operated on me but he still refused to see me after the surgery. I kept throwing up and having diarrhea. My body was rejecting everything I ate. I went to another doctor and was told that Juan Carlos Verdeja's surgery was a disaster. He cut a nerve he was not supposed to and it is something that cannot be fixed. I have to dissolve all my food for the rest of my life. I heard of another case where he diagnosed a girl with appendicitis but when he opened her to take out her appendix he realized it was just an ovarian cyst. It seems like this doctor just opens up people to charge for surgery. Please be careful with him.
