This doctor almost KILLED myself and my infant. She was called in for "emergency" c-section, as I was birthing in the hospital with a mid-wife. I never saw her after that, nobody told me what to do with myself after the c-section. I just went home with my baby. My ex-husband and my "best" friend were attending to me. 2 weeks my baby was "strange" to me. Come to find out Percocets were being fed to me every 4 hours and I was BREASTFEEDING. Almost overdosed myself and inffant. BEWARE

Dr Van Scriver may be well versed in obstetrics, but do not go to her for gynecological procedures such as a hysterectomy . Find someone else if you have those issues.

I chose Dr Van Scriver because I wanted to deliver my twins naturally. Most doctors wouldn't even try or they were very doubtful it would work out. Dr. Van Scriver was cool and calm through my whole delivery which was very quick, almost chaotic. My baby A was head down and baby B was transverse. I deliver both babies naturally, unmedicated, just the way I wanted to. I truly believe she is an expert. I feel if I had any other doctor they would have called for an emergency c-section for baby B.
