Dr. Toombs has seemingly been a God-send to me. I have been going to Dr. Toombs for about 5-6 years now on and off to treat acne. She is very knowledgeable and takes time to explain my diagnosis and treatment plan. She always responds to my emails in a very timely manner, and I never feel like "just another patient" during my visits with her. I would definitely recommend Dr. Toombs to others because of her exceptional work!

Dr. Toombs is a wonderful dermatologist and incredibly knowledgeable. She takes the time to listen to my concerns, explain the issue and the medication(s) prescribed. I am able to ask any questions I may have and I never feel like she is in a rush. Most importantly, her diagnosis is accurate and the products she suggests or prescribes have been effective. What I greatly appreciate about Dr. Toombs is how personable and connected she is to her patients. I would definitely recommend Dr. Toombs to anyone in need of a dermatologist!

DR Toombs performed lipo suction on my and I woke up in the ER at George Washington Hospital from an infection. Lesson learned, DO NOT GET LIPO SUCTION from a Dermatologist. She said it was the first time this had happened to her. This was in 2004. She and her daughter took me back to her office(where the lipo suction) was performed and I stayed there for a couple of hours until my friend came to pick me up. I could have sued her but I was so glad that I didn't die. Now one part of my stomach is lop sided because she said when she saw that I was truly out, and she tried to wake me but I didn't wake up, that's when she called 911. This is a true story. It happened February 2003. This is not a lie but a fact and can be proven. I still have my discharge papers from the ER. Dr. Toombs is horrible and should not be allowed to practice plastic surgery on ANYONE. She should stick to just dermatology. HORRIBLE PERSON AND HORRIBLE PROCEDURE. I give her ZERO STARS. I hope she retires soon.

They keep the restrooms well-stocked here, and not just with the basics. There is mouthwash, lotion and other amenities. You can tell they want their clients to be as comfortable as possible. Whenever I make an appointment, I'm always confident that they're going to be ready for me at my scheduled time. At other places I've been to, it's always bothered me when they postpone my appointment, but they've never done that here. This provider has no helpful information available online, apart from their address and phone number. They just have a basic listings page. They make an extra effort to get to know their patients and find out what they need. They always remember me and make me feel very important. I would recommend them to my friends and family for sure. The service was impeccable and they were so caring.
