I had been asked by Dr. Feinstein, on my first visit, to have a special test done to ascertain if there were bleeding problems internally. After following through with his request of which I absolutely concurred due to past problems, I had another appointment. My first appointment with Dr. Feinstein, I felt so comfortable, realized his expertise in his area, and decided at that time, after his taking down much history, and having gathered information from my Cedars doctors, he would be my new gastroenterologist. This second appointment, he explained in detail the result of my test, my level of stress as well as anxiety I have been going through, and the cause of my concerns, which he acknowledged to be understandable. I truly felt I could ask him any question, and he would not think it was foolish or unjustified. He is a doctor with whom my comfort level was so high, and I have already referred him to two friends who need a doctor having his specialty.

The office waiting room is roomy and comfortable. I was the only person waiting and the wait time was only about 5 minutes. The doctor ushered me into his office and we proceeded to discuss my medical life since my last visit. Dr. F has always been respectful, kind and thorough, with a great sense of humor, and this visit was no different. After our discussion he took me to an exam room, did a brief physical exam, and then told me what to expect in preparing for the colonoscopy. We said our good-byes and I scheduled the procedure with his assistant, who was very pleasant and helpful. Definitely an all around positive doctor experience.

I am so happy to have found Dr. Feinstein. He is very personable yet astute, thorough and professional. He took the time to process not only my physical health, but my overall well-being. I knew after my first visit that I had found my primary care doctor. His staff is attentive and kind. Dr. Feinstein sits down with new patients to discuss their medical history and concerns instead of issuing pages of forms to be completed in the waiting room. He was direct and informative while putting my *extremely* nervous self at ease. I know I'm in good hands, and that will help immensely with my efforts to be more proactive about my health.

Nowadays, it is not rare to find a Doctor that is not rushing you and that wants to spend more than 5 minutes with you but Dr Feinstein was there for 30 minutes, very patiently, asking me the necessary questions and educating me. I felt empowered after his visit. Definitively I will recommend!

I had been having digestion issues: chronic constipation, and extreme stomach bloating after eating. Dr. Feinstein listened patiently; he had questions and then astute observations after listening intently to my answers. He suggested medication for my constipation and that has worked for me. I followed his directive to eliminate certain food groups from my diet for several weeks. I then met with him, and I found that when I eliminated those foods, my stomach was no longer distended and I also lost some weight. It is wonderful to have a solution that I can actually control. Dr. Feinstein has taken the time to solve my chronic issues. He's an excellent doctor. I highly recommend him.

I have known Dr. Feinstein over thirty two years. He is not only my Primary Doctor (actually the only trusted doctor), but he Is a friend. It is always a pleasure to see him and consult with him. He correct the other doctors diagnosis due to his vast knowledge and remembering previous treatments. Choosing the right doctor can be a crap-shoot, but I hit the jack pot. Dr Feinstein is a wonderful doctor combining expertise and compassion. He took the time to educate me about my body, understood my concerns by listening carefully, and never looked at his watch. Discussing GI matters inhibits me a bit but Dr Feinstein was so personable, he made it easy. He has my highest recommendation.

For any procedure there are many steps and sometimes multiple appts. Making my consultation appt was a snap. Great friendly front office that accommodated my schedule. On arrival my paperwork was packaged and waiting for me. Dr. Feinstein was on time (even a bit early, nice!). We spent a solid hour reviewing my history, my family history, the procedure, his plan and approach. Refreshing to be able to converse instead of being referred to a packaged web site. The outpatient center he has chosen is obviously very familiar with Dr. Feinstein. This makes for a very easy admission and process. The staff was very kind and helpful. My procedure prep was quick and the procedure started on time and under I went. 90minutes later I was back alert and sitting up. 120min later I was having lunch with my wife. At the onset and end Dr. Feinstein was there to answer my questions and spend as much time as I needed. I felt no rush and had his undivided attention. This is a board certified practitioner with years of experience. See him. Ask him all your questions. Do as he ask and instructs and you will an experience of how healthcare should be. I did and my experience was flawless. By the way: I am a healthcare practitioner with 29 years of experience.

It's a fact--you don't get to spend as much time getting to know a specialist doctor as you would your regular check-up doctor. I don't know about you, but I can't tell if I like a doctor or if a doctor is good in the 10 minutes we spend together in the exam room. That is why I really appreciate Dr. Feinstein's approach with his patients. Not only does he spend the time getting to know you as the patient, but he also gives you the opportunity to get to know him as a doctor. He is VERY knowledgable and cares enough to try and teach you as the patient so that you understand what is going on with your body. What each pain you are feeling represents. I have seen many Gastro specialists and Dr. Feinstein is the only one I have ever actually walked out of the office feeling like I was taken seriously and also that I myself understood more what my body was telling me. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a good doctor. I wish he was an internal medicine doctor so that I could go to see him on a regular basis.
