I saw this doctor as a new patient, part of Dr. Caskey's practice. My experience was puzzling because she was rather short, insulting and rude to me. She also discouraged asking questions or giving input. This was an intake ! She told me I had memory problems that should be checked, which was a little unsettling given I have genetic markers for Alzheimer's, BUT I am doing great. I explained to her that I had LONG-TERM memory problems. I am planning to cancel my follow up appointment because I felt so misunderstood and talked down to, and downright insulted on the way home. It was actually confusing. I've never been treated that way by a doctor before. At first she seemed quite fine, but as she went on, her boredom was apparent as she typed my info ( personal history ) that I had filled out on my intake form. This took the whole hour. I paid to sit there while she entered my info in her computer. Very strange. Somethings going on with her, sadly. I would definitely not recommend her.

Do not make an appointment with Dr. Ting. She appeared reasonably competent and friendly at first, but this facade quickly dissolved during the course of my appointment. She was very rude to both myself and her receptionist, spoke inappropriately about my body, and did not offer solutions/suggestions to several of my concerns. She asked me a great deal of unnecessary questions, and wrote down all of my answers - questions that had nothing to do with general health, specific health concerns, or related issues. She read her notes aloud as she wrote; one note read "Has emotional issues." Her equipment appeared outdated to me. One of my concerns necessitated a vaginal exam, afterward which I could hear her rinsing the exam tools in the dingy bathroom sink. On top of this, the paper thin door separating the exam room from the waiting room afforded me the ability to hear EVERYTHING the patient whose exam was before mine said, and everything Ting said to her.

I felt extremely uneasy when I left my appointment. Mai was very rude and short with me during the appointment. I called in about some test results and she literally yelled at me on the phone. I felt very belittled, hurt and confused... and left trying to just find a doctor who could politely give me some answers.

No, They definitely believe in quality over quantity and allow more than enough time in between appointments

Yes, they were informing me of new advancements that were extremely recent
