i went for wellness appt. as i was leaving, i asked about blood work. he said we will do that next time. i let him know i had fasted and wanted blood work, so he consented. i thought that was a must for wellness appt.

I went to this doctor for years...but then moved out of the area, so tried some doctors in Calvert County.
Each time I found a nice doctor, they would either RETIRE or move out of the area!
When I tried this last doctor recently in Calvert County, he was soooo disrespectful, almost to the point of being ABUSIVE! :(
Soooo......I called Dr. Champaloux's office...and asked if they were taking New patients...and I was soooo HAPPY they were!!!
I explained that I'd been a patient there 14 years ago, and wanted to "come back" and be a patient there again!
I am sooo glad I decided to do this.....Praise God!!! Dr.Champaloux is soooo nice and caring...and after that nightmarish situation I recently went through with that Calvert County doctor....well, BOY did I need someone to treat me with KINDNESS & RESPECT!!!
Everyone who works there is soooo nice...and this is soooo important to me!!! It is sooo worth driving 45 -50 minutes....to get treated soooo well, AMEN!!!
P.S. My husband sees how happy I am there...so he, too, decided he wants to be patient there, also!

I've been other places that left me unattended for quite awhile, but not here. They would never leave me unattended and they always go the extra mile to make me feel cared for. They always take the time to listen to me. I know they really care about me and what I have to say. They always go above and beyond to help me with anything I need. They never complain about anything, and I know I can always count on them. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. The waiting area here is extremely spacious. There is never overcrowding and everything is spaced appropriately.

I had been seeing Dr. Champaloux partner Dr. Eckberg the past year, I have been with this practice for over 15+ years and was able to switch between providers when necessary. Dr. Eckberg had moved away and so Dr. Champaloux was slammed with patients, I moved away and had to have my prescriptions refilled through the pharmacy. I was unable to make it back unitl August and Dr. Champaloux not only refused to fill my anxiety medication, but his front desk REFUSED to let the doctor know I had made an appointment and would be in next month but that I could not afford to drive 5 hours and pay out of pocket for a office visit until then and I NEEDED my anxiety medicine. Needless to say, I'm not going back
