I definitely don't trust their advice. I don't think they were very experienced or well-trained. They did not understand the difference between type 1 and type 2 diabetes. I was hoping to get support and understanding, but instead I got criticism and ignorance. The educator complained to me about other patients. i found this very unprofessional. My advice to others with type 1 diabetes is avoid frustration and go somewhere else!
