I hope this review helps save someone from years of emotional pain that I've experienced. If you're considering having a rhinoplasty with Dr. Carter DO NOT do it. Unfortunately, I did and it has proven to be one of the worst decisions of my life. I've spent 9 years, 4 surgeries, and 5 times the amount of the original surgery fee to try and correct a bossae and other issues that were caused by my primary rhinoplasty with Dr. Carter. Please, please listen to this advice and go to a rhinoplasty specialist or better yet just don't do it! I would give almost anything to go back in time and never have this procedure done. Believe me, it is not fun to have strangers stare and whisper about your messed up nose every time you go out. So please take this advice to heart and don't do it. It is really not worth it in the end.

His performance did not live up to my expectations and I intend to have his work redone by another physician. Dr. Carter elevated my expectations by having me gather and show him pictures of what I liked and what I did not like, I had two procedures done on the same day. My results were nothing like the pictures I showed him of what I liked and in my opinion, the results were worse than the pictures I told him I did not like. I still have those pictures.

Against my better judgment, I allowed him to redo one of the procedures, at no cost, because all follow up care was supposed to be free for the first year after surgery. He told me what he would do and what to expect from my second surgery, but my results were not as he said they would be. The results are still unacceptable and I will have to find another physician to redo it a second time.

He had told me he would redo the second procedure later, it was presumed to be at no charge as well. However, he informed me that if he had to redo the second procedure that he was going to charge me an additional fee.
Which is now a moot point, because the redo of the first procedure was unacceptable to me and I will not allow him to perform any more surgeries on me.
