Ingredients

  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

  • 1 large pickled jalapeño pepper, minced

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/4 cup white wine vinegar

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons light brown sugar

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger

  • 1 tablespoon allspice

  • 1 1/4 teaspoons black pepper

  • 3/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

  • Combine the vinegar, garlic, ginger, jalapeño, oil, brown sugar, allspice, black pepper, and salt into a large bowl. Add the chicken to this mixture and flip it around until all sides are coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for no longer than one hour.

  • Preheat the grill to medium heat. Take the chicken out of the marinade and place it onto the grill. Grill for 10-15 minutes, or until cooked through. Flip each chicken breast once during the course of cooking.
