Ingredients

  • 1 pound extra-lean (≥90%) ground beef

  • 1 medium onion (1/2 cup chopped)

  • 1/2 package (1.25-ounce) gluten free chili seasoning mix

  • 1 can (28-ounce) diced tomatoes (undrained)

  • 1 can (28-ounce) crushed tomatoes

  • 1 can (15-ounce) spicy chili beans (undrained)

  • 1 ounce unsweetened baking chocolate (coarsely chopped)

  • 8 soft corn tortillas

Directions

  • In a large pot, cook the beef and onion over medium heat until the beef is brown, then drain.

  • Stir in chili seasoning mix, crushed and diced tomatoes, and beans. Heat until boiling.

  • Reduce the heat to low, cover, and cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally to blend flavors.

  • Stir in the baking chocolate and cook until melted.

  • Serve with corn tortillas.
