Ingredients

  • 12 oz shrimp, raw

  • 1 large cucumber, diced

  • 4 tomatoes, diced

  • 4 large shallots, peeled and sliced

  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed

  • ½ cup lime juice

  • 1ounce lemon juice

  • 1 bunch of cilantro, chopped

  • 1 yellow bell pepper, diced

  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

  • Salt, to taste

Directions

  • In a large bowl, combine the raw shrimp with the salt, garlic, cilantro, and lime juice. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for 4 hours.

  • In a small bowl, place the shallot slices. Cover with warm water and salt and let sit for 10 minutes. Drain and rinse.

  • Add the shallots and all remaining ingredients into the shrimp mixture, mix well, and refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.
