Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup skim milk

  • 1 large egg

  • 2 large egg whites

  • 1 medium overripe banana

  • 1 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

  • 10 slices whole wheat bread

Directions

  • Heat stove top to medium heat and spray a skillet lightly with cooking spray.

  • Place the first six ingredients in blender and mix until uniform.

  • Pour the mixture into a shallow bowl. Dip both sides of bread slices into the mixture individually, before placing in the skillet.

  • Cook the French toast on each side until it is a deep brown color.
