Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup low-fat sour cream

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt

  • 8 slices light rye bread

  • 1 can (6 ounces) tuna, drained and flaked

  • 2 tablespoons low-fat mayonnaise

  • 4 slices low-fat American cheese

  • 4 tablespoons butter, divided

Directions

  • Combine the sour cream and the garlic salt in a small mixing bowl.

  • In a separate bowl, combine the tuna and mayonnaise.

  • Spread the sour cream and garlic mixture on four slices of bread. Then spread the tuna and mayonnaise on the bread.

  • Top with a slice of cheese and the other slices of bread.

  • In a skillet over medium heat, melt half of the butter. Cook two sandwiches until the bread has lightly browned and cheese has melted. Repeat with the remaining butter and two sandwiches.

  • Serve immediately.
