Ingredients

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • 1/4 cup reduced sodium soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

  • 1 tablespoon dark sesame oil

  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon green onion, sliced

  • 4 (6 ounce) fresh tuna steaks, about 1 inch thick, rinsed and patted dry

Directions

  • Combine all ingredients in a small bowl, excluding the tuna steaks.

  • Insert each tuna steak into a self-sealable plastic bag, add some marinade to each bag, and seal.

  • Set the bags in a shallow pan and refrigerate for 30 minutes, flipping the bags over at least once.

  • Lightly coat a grill rack with non-stick cooking spray.

  • Drain the tuna from the marinade. Discard the marinade.

  • Grill each steak for 10-12 minutes or until flaky. Turn each steak over once.
